{Judging Others}
Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Matthew 7:1-2.
Very often, we will tend to see the negative side of the person instead of their positive side. And even if we can see their positive side first, it will be the negative side of them that will draw us away from them. But the point is, do we judge ourselves before we judge others? Do we know of our short-comings before we start to criticize others weakness? So right now, I really pray that we can try to put this into our daily life.
Judge ourselves daily. For we are imperfect and have sins, do not judge others and criticize them. Instead, love them like how our Heavenly Father will love the imperfect us. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7.
See how great love is. Imagine if our Father's love is spread throughout the whole world... Not only love your brothers and sisters but even your enemies. And this led me to these verses. Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. Matthew 5:44.
If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect. Matthew 5:46-48.
I know it is difficult but really hope we will try it out together.
Benjamin
Thank you Benjamin for sharing. I agree completely (:
I want to add that, you're very right in not being judgemental. Sometimes we test god's patience and shows all our flaws. But god sees through all these and continues loving and guiding us.
If he can show such patience and guidance in face of knowing every one of our flaws. Why can't we show the bit of kindness and love we can, for we , unlike god, only sees some flaw.

Yesterday the NYP unit gathered at east coast for a day of fun-filled activities!
Thank god for the entire commitee for organising and planning this outing. Special thanks to Shareen, Kai Sze, Evangeline, Gui Hao, Alexis and Jacob for preparing the delicious food.
Although it rained for a good part of the day, god really blessed us with a few hours of sunny weather for us to cycle.
Bee Hoon. Big thanks to Kai Sze's parents (:
